About NSE

Our Story

Committed to developing top notch student-athletes, North Shore Elite Cheer provides training in the fundamentals of the sport, Life-Skill development and real life Community Service experience. Providing year round programming, NSE Cheer offers something for Cheer Athletes of every level, beginner to advanced.

Established in 2010, our teams have become a mainstay at the top levels of competition with the Illinois Cheer Association (ICA). Bringing home 8 titles and several top 3 finishes, our teams have consistently qualified for the State Championships and advanced to the Finals annually since 2011.

NSE Cheer is deeply rooted in Excellence not only in the gym but in the classroom and community. Our student-athletes and alumni continually achieve the highest accolades in academics - our Junior Coaches (NSE Alumni and High School students) currently maintain a 3.0+ GPAs with several of our elementary and middle school students achieving Honor Roll status.

Annual service projects include: Volunteering at the Abiding Love Ministries Food Pantry on the Martin Luther King Jr National Day of Service, Kenosha Relay for Life - raising money for the American Cancer Society, Zion Community of Character Walk - recognized as an Organization of Character, Spread the Warmth Cold Weather clothing drive.

NSE Cheer is a division of Northern Illinois Youth Sports Organization which provides quality affordable youth athletic programs to girls and boys ages 5-17

ATHLETIC ACHIEVEMENT

Training is focused on advancing Cheer Skills, building strength & endurance while mastering the foundational aspects of the sport.

Our program offers an annual winter Training Academy, Spring Training Camps and competitive teams. The competitive season begins July 1st and culminates with the Illinois Cheerleading Association (ICA) State Championship in December

LIFE SKILLS

All North Shore Elite Cheerleaders are encouraged to work hard in the classroom, in the gym and in the community. We teach sportsmanship, discipline and love of athletics, all while encouraging scholastic excellence and proper balance between school and sport.

COMMUNITY RESPONSIBILITY

North Shore Elite Athletes are encouraged to excel in their communities as in the classroom and in competition. Service projects are a regular part of our activity year round. As a fully volunteer organization, we pride ourselves on the time each of our staff gives back to their community.
